September is my favourite month. I love the fresh fall air, the crunch and colour of leaves, and especially the excitement of a new school year. (I do not like pumpkin spice lattes). In June, my 6-year-old was a little nervous to depart Kindergarten and his adored teachers. But he’s been a champ embracing the challenge of grade 1.
Inspired in part by his courage, I am taking on a challenge of my own in running for School Board Trustee for zone 9 (Capital and Alta Vista). I’m excited to see what the new year will bring for me and fellow School Board Trustee candidates. Hope you’ll follow along!
